What’s the meaning of ‘many places‘?

So the answer is that I have applied in all 10 places. Hearing the number 10, I felt very sorry for him, but he said to the serious attitude of the esteemed person, “Friend, add another zero to this which is 10, then there are many places to say.” The reason I said that was clear, if you have been an exceptional student like a position holder or a scholarship holder, then the companies will contact you automatically, but if it is not and you are an average student. Then you have to work hard to get the job, because the reality is that the competition for the job in the current market is very tough, so it is very important for you to know the different ways to apply for the job so that You can increase your interview opportunities.

Apply directly

You must first know where the field in which you have graduated is used. Sometimes it happens that due to lack of understanding we create a limited circle in our mind, and look for a job according to which our options are also limited. So first find out where the field or subject you are studying is used. Then make a list of all the relevant companies or organizations where your department has work, so you will have a comprehensive list. You can take turns visiting the websites of all those companies or institutions to find job opportunities and apply for vacancies.

There is another method that can be followed. The policy of many companies is that whenever there is a vacancy, they keep a record of all the CVs they receive in their data bank so that in case of any vacancy, they can be re-assigned. You do not have to re-submit all the CVs but choose one from the data bank so that they get their desired candidate from the same data bank. To do this you have to have the email addresses of the companies. It is important that when you email these companies you will receive a reply from a few places that the vacancy has been filled or there is no vacancy but your information is stored in the data bank for future vacancies. Are going and you can be contacted again as needed.

This method is so effective that I myself have received interview calls from many companies where I had sent my CV two to three years ago. This method reduces the likelihood of an immediate interview call from the company because in the language of communication, such an email is called an unsolicited email (unsolicited email). Arriving, obviously he will either take care of you or ignore you. But the advantage is that your CV will be in their database which can be used for future vacancies.

Finding positions in newspapers is the oldest and most tried and tested method. If you apply for vacancies in newspapers, the companies will respond immediately because a company only advertises in newspapers when they are in dire need of a person for the job, so it is very important to use newspapers to find a job. It may be helpful to read all the advertisements on the jobs page in the upcoming Urdu and English newspapers one by one on Sunday and try to find a job in the relevant field of your education. Let me also mention here that many people read big advertisements but ignore the small ones ie classifieds, although there may be many vacancies that meet your educational qualifications and experience, so remember that every Advertising is important!

Another important point is that the various advertisements in the newspapers are accompanied by a brief list of job responsibilities (also called job descriptions) if any such information is listed with the advertisement and you have the required experience and qualifications. So be sure to include it in your CV and increase your chances of getting a job. Job portals are actually websites that provide a platform for companies and job seekers. I myself use Job Portal a lot and I have benefited a lot from it, I have received many invitations through these job portals.

Whenever someone asks me how to find job opportunities, I definitely recommend these job portals but most of the time I get the answer that job portals are not effective. In fact, the problem here is not the job portal but the profile of those people on the portal. When I look at the profiles of those people, I see a lot of flaws in their profiles. If you want to use the job portal to find a job, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Be sure to include a profile picture that is a professional portrait

Complete your profile 100% without having too much information

Whatever you write, write honestly

Be sure to use keywords in all text. (Keyword is the word that defines your entire job profile, such as HR, payroll, quality, pharma, etc.)
